Yikes, just got an email from The Scientist. She writes "Put this on our Web site!" And so I have:

"You were worried about disappointing a friend with your post, but did you think about pissing off your wife? In no way was it a mistake to bring our child into the world. We both were born during the Vietnam War, and I think our lives are great. Yes, war is terrible. And I'm pissed at the government too because of the way things have been handled. But don't you dare for a minute think that we should have made different decisions about our family. I have never loved two people more, and I've never been happier."

Well... yeah... you're right. I know it wasn't a mistake to have the little girl, she is perfect after all. Just like it's not a mistake for us to be talking about having another little girl or boy. I just wish we were creating a better world for them to inherent.

Okay?
